Privacy notice.

VeritBuild AS is the data controller for the personal data processed in connection with operating the website veritbuild.no and delivering the company's services. This notice describes what data we process, why, and what rights you have.

What personal data we process

We process only personal data that is necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations:

• Email correspondence. When you contact us at kontakt@veritbuild.no, we process your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Client relationships. Upon entering into an agreement, we process the contact, billing, and delivery information required.
• Website data. This website does not use tracking technology, cookies, or analytics tools that identify individual users.

Purpose and legal basis

We process personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries, conduct negotiations, and deliver agreed services. Legal basis: contract or legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f).
• Meet statutory accounting and bookkeeping requirements. Legal basis: legal obligation, GDPR art. 6(1)(c).

Retention period

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Documents subject to bookkeeping requirements are retained for five years after the end of the financial year, in accordance with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act. Other data is deleted when the purpose has been fulfilled, normally within twelve months after the last relevant contact.

Sharing and transfer

We do not share personal data with third parties, except for data processors that provide necessary services (such as email and accounting), and where a valid data-processing agreement is in place. We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU/EEA without a valid transfer basis.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have data erased when the basis for processing no longer applies.
• Restrict or object to the processing.
• Data portability, that is, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Complaint to the Data Protection Authority

If you believe our processing is in breach of the data-protection regulations, you may file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. More information is available at datatilsynet.no.
